Itinerary
Days 1 - 2: Nosy Be - Baobab Beach, Madagascar
On arrival at Nosy Be airport, you will be met and transferred for your first ‘island hop’ by boat to the unique and breath-taking Eden Lodge. Located on Baobab Beach only 30 minutes from Nosy Be on the mainland of Madagascar, this exceptional lodge is completely isolated from the rest of the world with access only by boat or on foot.
This exclusive luxury Eco lodge lies surrounded by 8 hectares of protected nature reserve and each luxury tent faces the pristine white beach and turquoise waters.
The next two nights are spent at this paradisiacal spot with time to explore the natural wonders of the reserve, the local village, snorkelling in search of marine turtles and a variety of water and boating activities. [D, BLD]

Day 3: Baobab Beach - Nosy Komba
After breakfast you leave the charms of Eden lodge behind and travel by speedboat to your next exotic location, Nosy Komba. Located in the Northwest of Madagascar between Nosy Be and the mainland, Nosy Komba is famous for the families of lemurs living in its tropical forests. You spend the next two nights at Tsara Komba luxury eco-lodge, situated directly on a private beach surrounded by tropical botanical gardens. [BLD]

Day 4: Nosy Tanikely
Today you visit Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve – famed for its world-class snorkelling and diving. You will spend the day on the island of Tanikely - a crystal clear natural aquarium where you will snorkel with colourful marine life, explore the underwater world of anemones and coral, and hopefully swim with a turtle or two! Take some time to explore the island itself, walk to the lighthouse and see the fruit bats and lemurs amongst the endemic flora. (Snorkelling equipment is included in this excursion). In the afternoon you will be transferred by boat back to Tsara Komba to enjoy the sun setting over the breath-taking Indian Ocean from your own private terrace. [BLD]

Day 5-7: Nosy Komba - Tsarabanjina
After breakfast at Tsara Komba, you will be transferred via boat to Tsarabanjina Lodge. Situated on an idyllic tropical island just 40 miles southeast of Nosy Be, Tsarabanjina Lodge brings an exquisite and exclusive experience to the Mitseo archipelago. The private island offers an air of tranquillity, carried leisurely by the gentle pace of the sea and its natural surroundings. Sheltered from natural disasters, the region is bathed in sunshine all year round. This afternoon and the next two days are at your leisure. Activities include snorkelling and scuba diving off one of the Four Brothers islands, or you can take walks around the island to discover her riches. Fishing, tennis and sailing opportunities are there for your enjoyment, and to relax at the end of a hard day of beachcombing, you can indulge in an onsite massage. [BLD, BLD, BLD]

Day 8: Tsarabanjina – Nosy Be
This morning you will leave your island paradise behind for your last night of Malagasy luxury at Manga Soa Lodge, located on the East coast of Nosy Be Island. Set on the white pristine beach of Befefika, Manga Soa Lodge offers prestigious luxury surrounded by the nature of Madagascar. Artistically furnished using local Rosewood combined with Indonesian style this lodge creates a relaxing and soothing atmosphere.
After check in and a welcoming refreshment you will be collected and transferred to the fishing village of Ambatozavavy. After a short walk through the Mangroves you will board a traditional Pirogue to transfer you to the Lokobe Forest. A traditional lunch will be served in the village, after which you will spend some time walking through the dense rainforest in search of Lemur’s, Chameleon’s, snakes and spiders. The reserve covers 740 hectares and includes the last remaining lowland rainforest found on the island. You will have the opportunity to explore the village and handicraft market before your return trip back to your hotel for your last night of gastronomical flavours served by the ever-attentive Manga Soa team.
